Noobie here. I have an iPAQ running WM5.1. To me, it has the expected number of crashes for a Windows product (and associated software) and ActiveSync is a P.O.S., but is otherwise fine.

I am looking to upgrade to an X51v. The primary reasons are the iPAQ has a measly 32MB RAM and a 300MHz processor. I am usually running about 2MB to 5MB free. I am hoping that the X51v's larger RAM and faster processor will speed things up. Also, the higher resolution will be nice to fit more on the screen although I haven't figured out what applications will just get higher resolution vs which will just get smaller.

The questions I have are:

* What is the WM5 version that the X51v runs? My iPAQ is 5.1. What is the latest ROM version? I'm assuming the later it is the more bug fixes are in it.

* I don't need any fake server hacks or whatever on my iPAQ. Is this a Dell problem even with the latest WM5 ROM?

* My iPAQ doesn't have BT. Is the BT on the X51v any good? I keep reading posts that the BT stack is junk. Is this true even on the latest WM5 ROM? I'm planning on running Dell's GPS.
