activesync

I need help. When I start the syc I got this message
"active synch support code: 85010014"
Do anybody knows what it mean? A second point is that the WLAN adjustment somtime loose the key so that I've to type it in again.

About ActiveSync - delete the partnership (if you have files that you sync make sure to back them up, move them to a different folder) and then put your Axim back on the cradle to have it start up a new partnership. If that doesn't work, I like to uninstall ActiveSync and reinstall it (it makes me happy...) (you delete the partnership by going to ActiveSync on your PC and, with the Axim DISCONNECTED, open the menu in there and it will have the partnerships in the file menu and an option to remove it)

WLAN - Just make sure to configure the wireless connection by adding it, not detecting it. Basically, turn on your wireless connection, press the 'settings' button which is on the same page as the Turn On/Turn Off button. Within there you should see the wireless network you are working with (and perhaps others). Tap the one you want to connect to - just short tap - and in there there will be a Network Key tab. Select the corret security protocol and put in the necessary key or password.

That cured the problem for me, I hope it works for you :)

Hello anybody again. HELP HELP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get since 3 day the "Support code" 0x85010014. AXIM 51v, A06 (12190500), and Activsync version 4.1.0 48.41.
The advice to unistal Outylook is impossible because of a company Laptop. After it works very well for about two weeks, now I con't sync any data anymore. No calendar and contacts. Just notes and documents.
On Monday I've to fligh to a customer and I hate it, not to have the PDA ready.
I've made a hard reset, erased all data and programs, re-instaled ActiveSync, but worthless. Is there anybody can help me a.s.a.p.???? I'm from the older generation and not so familiar with this computer devices. And I need realy the help of such young genius.

Looks like a common problem with Outlook, AS or Exchange. I found a link: http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58216

There's a microsoft link with fixes but it involves having access to the Exchange server(I don't know if that's what you sync to though).

Some have fix the problem within Outlook or AS. Give it a try with Post #'s #18 & #19.
