Question pocket outlook and keeping language settings

When I use Pocket Outlook I need to use the "Western European" language setting to view a lot of the email I receive.

Unfortunately, the only permanent setting here is Menu > Languages > Auto Detect. You can always change this when the message is displayed to 15 various alternatives, but it (as far as I can see) is impossible to just have it set to "Western European"permanently. The reason that this is a problem is that Auto Detect appears not to work and it requires a manual change of the language setting to display mails correctly.

Does anyone know of a way to change this which I haven't seen? There may be a setting somewhere that I haven't discovered?
