buffer overrun detected
Okay, maybe I'm in the wrong thread for this question, but I'm stumped - and so is the tech support guy from Dell (very kind and helpful - we've been conversing for over 1.5 hours and I finally gave up secondary to fatigue).
Anyway, I get the following message each time I try to sync my axim to the files on my computer (notice I said "files" - not the contacts, etc., just the files that I used to have on my axim before I needed to hard reset the machine - which occurred because my screen "temporarily" failed [that has been resolved for now])
The error I get looks like this:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Buffer overrun detected!
Program: C:\Program Flies\Microsoft ActiveSync\WCESMgr.exe
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.
Options: "OK" (yep, that's all)
SO, any ideas because I'm not a programmer and, though I grasp the concept of runtime error (thanks to Google), I don't know what to do next!
Thanks,
acpharmd
