For some reason my search and help icons or links are missing. How do I get them back and where did they go? I have a 6 gig CF card and I had some elvis on it and I added more music and the elvis is gone and I cannot search to see where it is. I need help, the King is missing for pete's sake!!!

Where did you used to see these options, in the programs folder?

You might be able to get help back by going to Start > Settings > Personal tab > Menus > select 'help' that is listed there.

About search, let us know where you are looking for it to be.

I downloaded "Total Commander" and it helped me locate these files. They are SEARCH.LNK AND HELP.LNK. File explorer does not "see" these files but commander does? I need to know where these files go and how to put them there? Help is a question mark icon and search is a magnifying glass. I need to know what directory these files need to be in? I use these occasionally to help me, although "commander" is pretty good at finding and a few other things. I don't remember where I found this free software but it is neat.

That is great to hear. You will want to place them in windows in the following directory:
Windows > Start Menu > Programs
Once in there you can go into the settings (Menus) and select them to be on your start menu.
