I've been spending some time going through all the tips for getting WM5 to run well. I have a X51v with on it's way.

However, I've become very confused because the tricks necessary for ROMs back to A01 are lumped together in one thread. It's not clear to me which ones aren't necessary anymore. :rolling:

Please help me by listing the tricks that are STILL necessary for getting WM5 to run reliably WITH A06.

I'll do a search to find out how to do the tweaks, I just need the list of tweaks by name.

I really appreciate your comments, I don't want to be modifying things that were already fixed by the newer ROM. :approve:

Congrats on your new purchase! I don't know if this was entirely necessary with A06, but I applied the fake server trick and haven't had any issues while uncradled with activesync. Activesync will still automatically start every so often when cradled but I don't believe that is a problem.

I'm interested in this too. I tried the temp path fix. will have to check in detail if it really affected performance.
Also i think we can try the Activesync fix and there was a thread i saw here on adjusting cache settings. If someone can point me to that thread it would be great

Welcome to the world of the x51v. Congratulations! I applied the fake server Activesync fix. Other that that just software such as mermaid and SKTools, particularly their Freeup Ram tool, to help clean up my main memory for OCN5. Oh - and I believe in the soft reset with psShutXP.

Most of what I do I have learned from you :love: now you can teach me more. :approve:
