OK - so before I learned about Aximsite I went on eBAY and purchased the WM5 upgrade for my Axim X50V.

I've read about some of the nightmares about this upgrade - once and for all, should I upgrade?

I think it would be beneficial. I have not found any problems with it that arent easily fixed. Also, if you have already purchased it why not upgrade?

Nope... your wm2003se is quicker, more stable, more reliable than the messed up wm5 upgraded version.

Most will say don't do it.You got the disc and you won't be able to help yourself so when all the problems start showing up come back here and somone will tell you how to go back to WM2003.In my opinion it's not worth the trouble.
