Word Mobile "Gone" From Programs

Somehow I accidentally deleted the shortcut link to Word Mobile that used to be in Windows\Start Menu\Programs. When I use File Explorer to locate and open a Word file, it comes up just fine. Also, When I go Start - Home, I can access Word Mobile from there as well.

How can I get the shortcut back to Windows\Start Menu\Programs? When I am in Start - Home, all I can do is "open" Word. Holding done on the icon from there does not give me any options (like Copy/Paste). Is there a path I can take thru File Explorer that will get me to the programs that appear in Start - Home?? I have tried a Soft Reset, but no luck there.

Thanks!

Use fie explorer (either the one that comes with Windows Mobile or one of the add ones like Resco or Total Commander) to make your way to the Windows folder.

Scroll down and hold your stylus on pword.exe (you won't be able to see the extension in the default explorer but it's the 230K file). When the menu pops up, select copy.

Then make your way to \Windows\Start menu\ or \Windows\Start menu\Programs\ (depending on if you want the shortcut in the Start menu or the programs list), select Menu, Edit and Paste Shortcut.

[Note: your problem was trying to use the home list instead of the explorer program.]
