Excel Mobile file save error
I have upgraded to an X51v from an X5 and have numerous word and excel files on an SD card from the old system (2003). When I open them on the new system it seems to converts the old Pocket Excel files to Excel Mobile format (pxl->xls). When I then open, modify, and attempt to close EM, I get "An error occured saving 'ilename' with choices OK and Cancel." Cancel loops me back to the file, OK sends me back to the file directory and leaves the old file intact, no changes saved.
I have also noticed that there on the file directory that there is a small red triangle in a black square on the lower right hand corner of the Excel icon that is to the left of the file name. This Red Triangle seems to be an indicator that the file is on the SD card. It shows up when I list files from withing the application (Word or Excel) but not when I use File Explorer. If I make no changes to the file but close it, no error message. What's going on here? How can I fix it? Did I miss something about converting files to Mobile? | |||||||||

I found this error message only appear if the file (Excel file) is saved on SD card. I had try to move the file to the internal memory, open edit and save it no problem found. I think this another software bug from dell again.
