According to MS Tech Days held in March 2006, Windows Mobile 6.0 aka codename Photon which is based on Windows CE 6.0, won't be distributed to OEM partners until late 2007 with devices based on this new mobile OS marketed in Q1/Q2 2008. The announcement this past week was only for the Beta of Windows CE 6.0.

well u can install ce6 now (if u get it) but then that'll be it..cuz there isn't any software written for it...kinda like WM5 compatibility problem back in the dayzzz.
