I am new to Pocket PC world (1 week old). I was a Sony Ericsson P800 user who became sick of waiting for P990. Any way, How could I send SMS using my new Axim? Where can I get window mobile 5 compatible software? it seems that all the SMS software availble are good only for the older window mobile OS.

Thanks for the answer. I have seen this link before and it did not work for me. I have to say that I am very shoked and disappointed that there isn't much software support for window mobile 5. There are plenty of software for the previous window OS. My recent move from Sony-Ericsson to Pocket PC is not a smooth transition. My intial impression (and I can certainly be wrong) that Microsoft is not doing enough. I am not asking for too much from microsoft, all what I want is to be able to SMS from my Pocket PC. The other disappoinment with my new Axiim was my inability to Down load Real Player, and don't get me started on GPS!!

I hope Pocket PC for dummies (a newer edition) or window mobile 05 for idiots are coming out soon, because I need one.

But this book might provide for some help to me when it comes out in fw weeks
