Outlook send problems from default account
Hi All,
Can someone explain how the outlook default (wm5) can be configured to send and receive email when not sync'd? When docked it syncs fine and sends email sitting in your outbox, but you cannot set any outgoing/incoming mail settings (does not appear as a editable account under options) or get access to the send/receive features in this account. You end up having to sent up a second account to get the send/receive functions to work but then you can't sync this account when docked since it defaults to the default 'Outlook Mail' account. Secondly, one the second email account that I set up, I can receive just fine from my web mail server but I can't send...when I send i get an error coming back saying "Can't receive email, settings are incorrect etc...) - even though receiving is fine. I know there are a couple other threads out here regarding this same issue so this isn't an isolated case but no one has responded to them. Any help would be appreciated. Rene | |||
