I have downloaded the files onto my x51v of a program thru ActiveSync. This program has .msi and .exe files, but when I try to run .msi installer on PDA, I get a message There is no application assoicated with it. Run application first, then open this file from within the application.

When I try to run setup.exe on PDA, I get the message 'Setup' is not a valid Pocket PC application.

What is it that I am not doing right, and how can I fix it?

Welcome to AximSite!

Run the installer on your desktop machine. It will use ActiveSync to install the app on your Pocket PC. :approve:

Thank you for prompt response. When I do that I get the following message on my lap top


"Application Manager cannot install this application on your mobile device due to an invalid setup file. Reinstall and try again"

sounds like it didn't download through the internet propperly...

You might want to try that bit again
