Hi, I just complained to Dell Chat about problems with my x50v WM5, and they are shipping me a x51v. (he he) Can I simply use the default program to backup everything, or will that cause problems? Also, can I use Sprite Backup to backup everything except the registry? Will that be better?

I would definitely start fresh, with no backups at all. Just make sure you have an up-to-date sync.

You cant backup the apps and restore them to a X51v from a X50 , BUT if you sync your x50 with outlook, then sync the new X51V on the same system it should pull in all your contacts and email , etc.
