I downloaded the office 2007 beta 2 and had created a couple powerpoint presentations (as a student it's the easiest way for me to make 'flash cards' for my ppc) but when i copied them over to my x51v, they weren't recognized.

i had to go back and resave them as office 2003 documents.
is there an update for office mobile that will make these new documents work, or will i just always have to save them as the old style?
also, when i did get the powerpoint presentations onto my PPC some of the letters were missing/cut off at the beginning of words... not sure what was causing that, i can only think it must have been office 2007.

so... are there any updates to windows mobile? and if so, how do i procure them.

Not yet. Office 2007 beta changes the inherent format to XML coding which the Windows Mobile PPC WOrd Mobile does not yet support. An update should come out by microsoft or a third party, I just don't know the time frame of when this is scheduled to be released.
