How to create your own ROM-image ?
Hi,
I am an IT-manager and I have several Axim's under my command ... I would like to make a kind of backup of those machines so that i can easily put them back to the way they were without having to install all the software manually ... I thought it would be easy if I could make my own ROM-immage and if needed just put that back ... Is there software i can use to do this ? we have some (7) Axim X30 and 2 axim X51v Thanx | |||

Welcome to Aximsite!
Each device has a backup utility built-in. Look for Data Backup in Programs. ActiveSync (pre 4.x) also has one. For more features, consider Spb Backup or Sprite Backup. | |||||

Probably an easier way. Get sprite backup. With this you can create self extracting files which will restore your axim to how you backed them up. Takes about a minute to make the backup and about 2 minutes to restore it. Works extremely well for me.
