Welcome to Aximsite,

Depends what you want to achieve. The PocketBreeze family is pretty good. and I also like Resco suite product.

Please do not crossthread (post same thread to other forums)

I would highly recommend the following:
SPB Pocket Plus
Pocket Informant
Pocket Breeze
Pocket Weather

Just to name a few. Those I would say are must haves.

All this software has free trails.

Instead of spb pocket plus, try iLaunch and Wisbar Advance 2

Just curious, why would you suggest two products to replace one? The ability to open multiple PIE windows alone make spb plus worth while, let alone save memory for installing one instead of two. Sorry, but the ability to install graphical interfaces to my axim aren't that important. I'd rather have it run fast than load it down.

I tried almost every today screen plug in that I could get my hands on when I got my Axim. I have to say that I like Wisbar and WS Desktop the best. While Pocket Plus had a few extras that I had to look at other programs for, the screen always felt cluttered to me. WS Desktop is nice because everything is very accessible, but since you can put it on different "pages" it doesn't have to be right on top if you are not using it.

All of that being said, I have to agree with the other folks who recommend using the trial versions. They all have advantages and siadvantages and the only way to find out what you like is by testing it before you spend the money.

Try Sprite Backup too. I usually backup my pda every other day.
Also if there is a problem, you can use the windows companion of sprite to restore your pda after a hard reset without having to reinstall sprite into your ppc first.

OzVGA or SEVGA, depending on which axim you get, because they greatly enhance your screen, giving you true VGA resolution (Of course I now prefer force hires, which doesn't interfere with anything that doesn't like to run in trueVGA).
Palm m130->Pa1m0ne Tungsten | E->Dell Axim x30 High...But now, a glorious Dell Axim x51v + 1GB Sd Card and a 2GB 80x CF Card!!!

My X50/1V Site, for nothing but the x50/1v PDAs!

There are a lot of people that like WB2 and iLaunch. There are others that prefer SPB P+.

I have both. Although I switch back and forth, my system runs the smoother when using WA2 and iLaunch. This is based on my own personal observations.

Try all Three! The trial version is free. Besides, trying out new programs is fun!
