Downgrading?
When I first bought my X50v, it was on WM2003SE, and so Dell promised to send me a free copy of Mobile 5. I installed it now, and I don't really have a problem with it except for it's really crappy detection of removable memory.
I was wonder, what did Windows have in mind when they put out Mobile 5? Is there any advantages they claim to it, or is the software just simply terrible. I am considering downgrading, but I am not happy about clearing the data from my axim, because then I have to probably go through OCN5 to recieve another CD key to unlock my GPS guidance system again. Is they going to fix the bugs in it soon, or ever in that matter? Or will Windows Mobile 5 simply be Windows Mobile POS | |||

advantages of wm5 are persistent storage which means that u won't lose ur data when ur battery dies, better 3d support, progress bar in IE,play count option in WMP10 meanin u can now see how many times u played a song/video.there's others but those are the top ones that kept me on wm5.
