Axim doesn't always recognize my storage card

I keep music and large Word documents on my storage card. Every once in a while, when I have to access something stored there, I will go to it but Axim doesn't recognize the storage card. I have to do a soft reset and then start over.

Anyone else have this problem and can suggest a remedy?

Thanks

Scott,

Not that this will be helpful, but I have had the same problem. Especially after I have transferred a lot of pics or something to my SD card. Usually, I pop it out and put it back in and it works fine.

If you have not yet done the fake server trick that helps with serveral wm5 issues, you might wish to check out this thread. Among other things this trick fixes disappearing memory cards. Hope it helps.

I did the "fake server trick" a few days ago for the same reason-not regognizing my SD card-and (crossing fingers) it has been alright since. Give it a try. I was also finding that I would go to turn on my axim and would get nothing. It seems better since the fix.

I have to do the same thing, soft reset. The situation is with my CF card, SD works fine.
