I use block recognizer for all data entry apart from initial password setting but find that however many times I set the default it will regularly return to keyboard as the default. Setting the options works for a short time but next time I switch on or a little later in the session it reverts to keyboard.

Is there something I can set somewhere to make the default always block recognizer?

h/w is X51
S/W is WM 5
ROM A12 (Same on A05 before)

apps Resco file and registry
Memory Map
TomTom
flash and acrobat

This is the only problem I have with an otherwise excellent system.

I think you need to edit the registry to make the settings stick..

Or you can use a program like Tweaks2k, or SKtools to do it for you.

(but it's probably a good idea to make sure you have a backup first)

Edit.......

OK I have found that setting the registry entry 'defaultim' to the classID of the block recognizer and doing a power down the block recognizer is staying default.
