A12 Upgrade and Battery Drain

Hi Axim Land,

I recently upgraded from A06 to A12 and I have noticed, or I think I have noticed that I have considerably more battery drain. In a 8 hour period I can see the battery drop from 100% to 94-95% while in suspend mode. I do not recall seeing this at the A06 ROM. I have loaded the same software and same SD card so nothing has changed.

Has anyone seen this or is it my imagination running wild?

I also have my program shortcut icons reverting back to a default icon in the START menu and Today screen after a RESET or Power down for programs installed on my SD card. I don't like it but I got used to it. This all started after the A12 upgrade too.

No power lost here at all. Battery could be old. I mean it isn't because the Axi is new that the battery was made at the same time. It is the same battery as teh X50 after all. The shelf and life time of a Lithium Ion battery is around 3 years. My 2¢

This thread is almost identical to the one we've been using. duplicate threads is bad.
