Hello All,
I just got my Axim ( x51v with A12) I'm looking for a VPN client program that will let me vpn back into my work LAN while I'm away. I went to Cisco's site where I log in, etc, and found something, downloaded it, and it wasnt what i was after at all. I'm looking for something like what we put on desktop PCs for our notebook users, a little Win32 app that looks like a padlock, when they click it, they tunnel in and theyre on the LAN. Unlock the padlock and the tunnel goes down. if anyone has any pointers I'd be very grateful, Thanks - I'm new to this, but very impressed with the Axim, the quality of the software out in the community & this board. Cheers!

Vpn
I use Bluefire VPN to connect to a Cisco 3000 PIX. It only has one small issue on a Dell x51V - After a soft reset it starts up with WiFi running. You have to power off and then back on and then you can turn WiFi off. I had a similar problem with other VPN programs and the Dell. Also you have to remember to disable Proxies when you use it.
They have a trail version I recomend you try before purchasing. All VPN software seems expensive. Other VPN products are available from NCP Secure, Anthasoft and Apani. So far I have had both NCP and BlueFire working on the Dell with a Cisco PIX.
