better to store programs on the memory card?

I installed a bunch of programs like.. agile messenger, core,tv remote, gsplayer, microsoft money, avantgo, aim(doesnt work right)and a few games. I have a 2gig SD card that i use for pics and music. But I was wondering if i am storing too much on my ppc. it says right now i have 25.27mb free on programs. and 161 mb free on storage .

any thoughts?

The x51v, you should be fine. I like to keep 20 free on each side, of course wm2003se, so its different, but if you notice it being slower, try moving some apps to the card.

Same. On X51v there's virtually unlimited space for program.
I only keep personal data (including music&video) which take up huge space on memory cards.

since the x51v does have so much built in storage, i too install all progs there and use the sd card for large reference files. when i had an x50v with 2003SE, i tried to install most. if not all, progs to sd card to preserve memory in the axim and then move the slider bar to give me as much system memory available as possible (iirc, if i left at least 8 meg storage available it would not recenter itself)
