Copy and Paste WPA Key
With Windows Mobile 2005, I don't seem to be able to copy and paste my WPA key into the network cards settings dialogue like I used to be able to do with my older Windows Mobile 2003SE device.
I was able to paste into the initial box that comes up when the network is detected, but this field didn't allow the entire length of the key (I'm guessing it only wanted a WEP key), and it doesn't let you paste into the box in the network card settings dialogue.
Is this intentional? A 'feature'?
I didn't find it very fun to have to enter a lengthy 63 character alpha-numeric key using the onscreen keyboard, (especially when it masks the text) but it did manage to type it right the first time :).
Is this another one of those stupid ways of trying to increase security? If so, I hardly see how making it harder and less encouraging for a user to change the key (should a need arise) would help.
