cmd.exe for WM5
Does WM5 come with a cmd.exe? If so I think I might've accidentally deleted it.

Nope. No command promt for WM 5. There are some dos emulators for ppc, but it really doesn't have the same functionality as Command Promt.

Terrible, simply terrible. :oP Sometimes it really seems like Microsoft cheated me on WM5. Oh well, thanks for your help!

There isn't a command prompt but there is an equivalent to the Start -> Run in windows.
Hold down the action button (centre of the Directional pad) and then tap and hold the the clock at the top of the screen for about a second or two. Release both, clock first, and a menu should pop up under the clock with "Run" in it. From there you can run any application you want and specify arguments if needs be.

Sweet, that's good to know. Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem. I want to use a console-type program, WORDS. It's a one-of-a-kind Latin dictionary. I figured if I could get a program to run the DOS version, it would work fine. However, pDOSBox doesn't work too well, and really is too powerful for my purposes (since I really don't want to run DOS games or anything like that). I just want something to act like Windows' command prompt.

Sadly you can't run DOS applications natively on the PPC due to different architectures, Dosbox or something similar is your only option to be honest. Unless you want to learn to program on the Axim and port the program across...
I'd like to learn to write programs for the Axim, but don't have the time to get into it...

Okay. Now that's cool. How the heck did you find that? Any other little tricks you know of?

Yeah, I've thought about that too, but the program is written in Ada, which is very different from C++ or any other language I know (it's more of an older style of programming language) so I'd have to learn both to program for the Axim and to read Ada. Not to mention the only software I know can program for WM (from Microsoft) is waaaay to expensive.
...and I should probably be focusing on school anyway, lol.
Guess I can go without.
