Sorry, your are not going to get very far with this.

There is no software program that will do this! Even the simplest app will, at the very least, need to be recompiled, and more likely require several weeks of programming. And it gets harder from there.

You could always try your hand at writing an app yourself....

Isn't there a pocket version of DOSbox?

Well, yes, there is. But there just provides a command-line. Even text-only DOS apps will not work... even if the ARM process instruction was compatible with the 8086 instruction set there's usually BIOS calls at the very least....

I think you are thinking of pocket command (or something like that) NoisyCrow, actually quite a few dos programs work fine with both dosbox and with pocketdos. They have emulators for the processors. You should at least give them a try and see if you can get the applications you want running on them. I have run a fair number of reasonably complex programs on them.

I wrote two applications I use a lot (one for work and one for my hobby) and did them both in C++ using the MS SDK. They're really pretty simple programs and I originally wrote them back in the Axim X5 days. The executables worked fine when I went to WM2003 and so far have seemed to work flawlessly in WM 2005. Someday I might look at rolling their build (right now they're still the original) and get a little fancier on the input and output templates and make more use of color, maybe do some graphing and etc. But they work fine and give you the right answer. You might take a look at updating your apps.
