Hi anyone - help please!

This sounds stupid, but my Axim is stuck in a weird mode. It's hard to explain. I can bring up some items using the hot buttons at the bottom (calendar, contact list, etc.), however when I try to open an individual item (e.g. a contact), it won't do it. Instead it just highlights the item. If I then move to a different item, it highlights that one also. It's kind as if the "ctrl" key is stuck on a computer keyboard. Double-tapping doesn't help any - it still just selects the item but won't open it. When I hold down the stylus, it doesn't bring up the normal menu, e.g. that contains the "open" option. For the file menu, it only brings up the options Refresh, View All Files, Paste, Paste Shortcut, and New Folder.

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. I tried looking through tutorials and such, but couldn't find anything easily.

Try a soft reset. use the stylus in the little hole on the back.

If that doesn't work - Hard Reset will fix it (most of the time anyway)...

Glad to help. Soft reset helps a lot of problems.

Infact, soft reset is the only thing Dell Tech support knows how to do.

That's totally unfair. They also know to say "Have you tried a hard reset?" and "This isn't supported by the hardware." ;)

LOL, I forgot about Hard resets and Unsupported Hardware, ofcouse there updates never cause problems either.
