problems with new 2200 (?) battery....

Just got a 2200--charged it for a number of hrs. Axim was green-- charger was green...could not turn on the axim for anything...tried and tried...finally went back to the old battery..got the device going--found that I had lost everything on the device...went back to the new battery--charged a whole bunch more--same thing--everything was green for go...couldn't get my X51v fired up for anything...old battery worked fine...bad new battery??? or what??? Thnaks! Steve (oh yeah--did "soft resets) thx...

I'd contact the vendor you got your new battery from and request a replacement.
