X51v/WM5 Installing software to storage memory

Newbie user here, but yes I have searched mulitple previous posts on this site:)

I've installed Pocket Informant/Resco File Explorer/SPB Backup to my new x51v. I can't figure out how to install to storage memory as I am not given this option during the install.

It appears that most of the installations were to program memory, this has left me with 171 MB of storage memory and 18 MB of program memory.

I will probably consider installing to SD/CF in the future, but I think the above software should be in storage memory vs. SD/CF?

Is it possible in WM5 to specify installation to storage memory? I also cannot figure out how to delegate move memory to program memory as there is no "slider bar" in WM5 (start/settings/system/memory).

Ideas? Thanks for the help.

You can't actually store to Program Memory, so you must be installing to storage memory. Unlike the x50, the x51 uses flash memory for it's storage memory (which for physical reasons is not usable as program memory). The program memory is analogous to the RAM of a PC and the Storage memory is like the hard drive. So when you fully power off or reset the x51 the program memory is wiped clean and then programs (like the OS) are loaded into to when they are active. You must have some apps running that are using your program memory.

Hi, that's strange. When you are instaling a new program through actyvesinc, your axim open a mask where you can decide to install it on DEVICE ( internal memory) or SD
