Mobile Excel shortcomings

Why in WM5 Excel, do we lose the following from prior pocket excel versions:

1. password support

2. saved zoom setting?

The unsaved zoom setting I might be able to live with, but password support is critical IMO.

Am I missing it in one of the menus, or is there an addon or registry hack to enable it?
