Question Has anyone returned the WM5...

Has anyone returned the WM5 software to Dell and received a refund?
(or even contacting Dell for a refund)

If so, what was Dell's response?
Thanks!

Here is a posting about people that have been successful in getting Dell to upgrade to a x51v. Also some have not been successful and only got their money refunded for the CD

I posted in the other posting that you mention you did not have success. I would try the online chat and see if you have better success. I wouldn't give up, I would try and try again. From the readings it seems that it depends on which CR person you get to how they respond to your request.

I've been trying and trying again since January. All I've had (after eight months and dozens of messages) is an e-mail suggesting I try a soft reset! Wow! Really getting to the root of the probem.

For the rest - nothing, zilch, zip. If I try on line chat I get a message telling me that I don't qualify.

I'm not even sure where my WM5 disk is at. It's still in the original wrapper, though.

Second that! Mine too, still in wrapper, someplace in a pile of CD's or perhaps
a Christmas Tree ornament!

Find any diamonds lately? In the news this 1st day of January:

An Arkansas man has found a 2.37-carat white diamond at the world's only diamond-bearing
site where visitors are allowed to search for and keep the gems they find.

I've lived in Arkansas for over 30 years and have never visited the diamond fields. Maybe I'll become a diamond hunter when I retire!
