Backing up & Restoring applications
Is there any way to back up and restore an application on an Axim? I am moving from one Axim to another and I want to transfer an application for which I have lost the installation CD. Plus it has local saved information that I would like to transfer over as well.
I tried running Active Sync on the old Axim & the new, and the standard files & data were transfered, but not the installed applications. Thanks, Paul | |||

In ActiveSync, with the new Axim in the cradle, go to Tools -> Add/Remove programs. As long as you used activesync to install the program fist you should be able to use that to reinstall it.
Hope this helps. | |||||||||

install it on an sd or cf card and swap it over - not sure, though
