Password Screen

As you probally heard this tons of times, but is there a way to change the password screen to open when you turn of your device? I hate the password screen. I have to put a time limit on it. I wan't to fix that. I do know of Pocket Secure, and I was thinking of getting it. But it there a free way to do this?
Registery Hack?

Taylor, I'm not entirely sure that I understand the question: but that's never stopped me from replying.

If you turn the device off, then the password screen will not open (because the device is turned off). If you are trying to prevent the password screen from appearing, change the settings in the Password options screen (from the settings menu). You can clear the password (preventing the prompt when the Axim is turned on) and change the options for prompts following periods of inactiviy.

Hope this helps.

Woops sorry. For example, when I'm playing my games (or any other application), the device turns itselft to the password screen within amount of time. I have a password set. I set the timer to 0, assuming it will not activate the password screen, but it will only activate the password screen when the device is turned off, then on. So in other words, how do you get rid of the password screen coming on, when your device is on?

With the new ROM Update (A12), Dell (or microsoft?) screwed up. I presume that you purchased your pda recently, or did a rom update. There is one way around it, Found HERE. I have heard that it doesn't work very well though (the article elaborates). I am beginning to thing Pocket Secure is just the best option.

I'll try it, and see if it works for me. I don't change anything in the settings, so it should work. Thanks. Hope it works. I upgraded the PDA. The upgrade is worth it though. More pros then cons.
