Is there a common way to change the size of fonts in programs in Windows Mobile 5?

It is waste to try to use ssh with device that has 640x480 display but can fit only 1/4 of normal 80x24 text screen because the font size!

I've changed smallest text from Screen - Text Size options and pretty much only thing that was affected was Today-screen, calendar etc. For example the Start - menu still has 'huge' text size.

Couple more, not so much font related, questions.

Is there better ssh program than Pocket Putty? I haven't find good free or commercial.

And I already forgot the second question.
