replacing a file currently locked by another process
I am trying to replace a program file that is currently locked by a process. I tried safe mode, but it did not help. Is there another way to accomplish that? Is there a TaskManager program that I can stop/start services?
Thanks | |||

In addition to benot's suggestion, if the app is in the startup folder, delete the link first before a full power off or a soft reset.
If you need to end processes you can use memmaid or a freeware called PHM Task Manager. http://www.phm.lu/products/PocketPC/TaskMgr/ | |||
