Change Phone Number Displayed In Contacts

How do I select which phone number (cell, home, or work) to display on the
"directory" page of Contacts?? On my Axim X30, I would tap and hold
the entry and a dropdownlist with all the phone numbers would appear,
from which I could select the one to display. I haven't been able to do that
on my X51v in WM 5. Any ideas?

Highlight the contact where you want to chnage the number that is displayed and press the D Pad. That should allow you to scroll thru all of the numbers that can be displayed.

What's next? how do you tell the X51 which number to display? tapping (and or tap and hold) it will only bring yo to the edit mode. using the scroll button and pressing the d-pad does the same. Menu doesn't have anything, pressing ok doesn't do anything. Maybe I'm missing something. Please send some screenshots.

Get to your "main" contacts screen where it lists all of your contacts. Select the one you want to change. If you tap it, it does bring you to the detail/edit part - hit OK here and that should take you back to the main screen with that particular contact highlighted. From there, hit the D Pad (to the right) to change the number that is displayed. Stop on the one you want, and it should reamin the "default" one that is listed. Does that make sense??
