Do the files have the Windows Media icon? I don't have a problem opening the app by tapping on a file, and I didn't adjust any settings (I don't see any to adjust).

Hi!
Just download this: PocketTweak v4.2.7
It's freeware and you can manage the files associations. It's one of my essentials.

Help!

Does anyone with Pocket Tweak know exactly what exe .doc files are associated with?. I screwed around with my pda and now my Word doc's appear as blank icons. I tried using Pocket Tweak to fix the problem by associating my doc files with pword.exe. in the windows directory. I can open the files with Word but the icons haven't changed (even after 2 soft resets.) Help!.

* Get a registry editor
* Navigate to the key HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\docfile\DefaultIcon
* Change the (Default) value to:
officeres.dll,-13072
