Pocket Messenger Woes & Weirds

Okay, so here's the dealio. For some reason when I sign onto messenger the contacts shown are not the actual contacts online.

For example it shows "Bob" online but when I IM him it's actually "Mary".

Strange indeed, I've cleared up cache' and temps, soft restarted to no avail.

Anyone hear of this? I'm thinknig of other Messenger SftWR, but I hate to have an error like this living on my Ax

Are you sure that Bob hasn't started cross dressing!? Sorry couldn't resist. I've seen this before but have no idea what the problem is. When I had it it was on a laptop and mysteriously dissappeared after a week or so. Would be interested as well if anyone knows about this.
