Memory available after A12

Using MemMaid I find that I have 192.61 MB allocated to storage and 49.40 MB allocated to memory. After a boot that leaves me only 27 MB free, where before A12 I had over 30. It seem that the 49.40 MB allocated is the issue?

Can others report their stats for comparsion?

It has been reported in some thread before. I think it's in the huge thread about upgrading to A12. Many believe that's the reason for the increase in speed.

Roughly 28 Mb free in my case.

I've had 29-30MB free, if I'm starting clean without anything loaded and A12... but that doesn't last.

I've found I have 30.5 Mb with no cards; 28 Mb with SD card installed, and 25.5 Mb with SD and CF installed. Each card seems to reduce available memory by about 2.5 Mb.

i have the x51 mid with A12 installed. sd and cf in when i boot i have usually 32 ram. sometimes i get up to 35 after soft resets. its pretty sweet. i use iL, pb, sbsh clock on today screen, and have hacked the registry so that i have no soft keys or start bar on top. without those it seems the memory is slightly higher.

Thanks :) i LOVE how i have my today screen now. it ALMOST feels like i have a vga screen, with all that extra space i have without the softkeys or start bar.
