Does anyone know of an application that can log system events on the PPC? Things happen to my PDA during the night that drain the battery and I would like to be able to back-track on applications that have started, stopped or failed during a given period of time.

Have you done the Fake Server Trick and are you "closing" your apps when you are done? That could possibly be (part of) the culprit :shrug"

Yep, done all that and re-scheduled the spb backups to take place in the morning so I can see what happens but still, suddenly, overnight the battery goes flat. I am trying very hard to avoid a re-build as I have dozens of apps but it looks as though I may have to resort to A12!
