Hi all. I haven't been on the site for probably about a year now. The last time I was on was right after WM5 was released. I was one of the few who seemed to have a lot of problems with it on my X50v. I wound up rolling back to 2003, simply because it seemed more stable in my experience.

There were talks of updates or patches, and I was wondering if any such updates were ever released?

I'd like to get with the times, and was just wondering whats the latest version I should be on. I'm on ROM A05. Is that still the latest or is there an upgrade that I should get?

In other words, someone bring me up to speed!

I think most of us have stuck with 2003SE, Dell never released anything to "fix" us :(

I'm relatively new to Axim, as mine is only a month old. But, it came with ROM version A12, which is several significant updates since the first release last year. From what I've read, it's made a huge (positive) difference. Mine runs just fine. FYI, I've also update ActiveSync to the latest 4.5(beta) to solve some sync'ing problems.

Here I am, sitting here with 2 never opened WM5 CDs.

and I am running the latest ROM version.

Mine came with A12 installed and it works flawless. I had a hx4700 and the WM5 upgrade was a nightmare.....killed the unit twice. I get the hardware on the 4700 may not have been ideal to work wiht WM5, but it was still horrible.

You are running Windows Mobile 2003 on an X50V? You are up to speed.

A05 is the final WM2K3.2.
