I have a X51, using CF to store my MP3 file. Just updated the firmware to V.A12.

Here is my problem, whenever I play an MP3 file using the built in media player, there will be squeaky noises (distortion) coming out every few second or so, I've try different MP3 files, I tried through at least 10/20 of them, on 2 different CF card

Anyone had this problem? Is there a way to fix this?

I am taking that MP3 CODEC is in the microcode, so changing the help would have little help if any?

I encode all the music that goes on my axim into the windows media audio format so I don't experience what ur talkin about and the few .mp3 files I had on here before I encoded them didn't have that problem either so it might be ur headphones. so I would either recommend that u 1)convert them to wma 2)try a different media player, 3) try a different set of headphones or 4)hit uo dell.
