hello, I have a x51v with WM5. I could receive more than one signals with the same SSID but different channel #.
How can I choose a certain channel number? My device always choose the wrong channel number and gets disconnected a few seconds after connection.

You would need to be able to access your router settings, so if its ur own router, it can be done.

Try this address on your pcs browser to access router settings:
1) http://192.168.0.1

Your going to need a password, the url below will help you.

If that doesn’t work, try:
1) Start Menu
2) Run…
3) type “cmd” at the prompt
4) type “ipconfig” at the prompt
5) and use the address shown under Default Gateway

2) Log in as the administrator
On most routers this is username: admin password blank or admin
