List of MUST have apps for WM5

as well as any "cool" or "l33t" or "omgwtfbbq how did you do that" applications, hoping to expand the functionality of my pda beyond what it can do now (which is already a hellva lot)

heres my list

-Opera 8.6u1 browser (IE just sucks and minimo is rediculously slow)

-Pocket Mechanic (need it to format cards because windows xp sucks at it, even through disk mgr)

-resco file explorer (i think everyone has this already)

-TCPMP, best player but keeps screwing up my hw buttons, have to reset to fix the problem, this one i am looking for alternatives

-Ace Bartender, just for coolness factor

- Bartenders drink encyclopedia, same as above, its cool to know how to mix50 000 drinks

-resco audio recorder, record strait to MP3, need an alternative, the jamin's 240mhz cpu is too slow with this program

- convertCE, i use it almost every day to convert between units

- SPB full screen KB, needed for keyboardless pdas

- GPS Tuner, works well if you are in themiddle of no where and need to record your location

- handy switcher, because windows apparently doesnt know what X means

- Herecast WIFI Scanner, not some cheap kensigton POS wifi "detector", can see hidden networks

- iguidance 3.0 turn by turn guidance

- lextionary, just incase you need to look something up on the fly to argue with someone

- memmaid, dont really use it cept for the OMAP OC stuff, the reg cleaner is done by pocket mechanic.

- Novii remote deluxe, one of the best remotes and supports OMAP cpus!!!

- resco photo viewer, scroll through pictures quickly, supports multiple formats

- pocket stars, so you can star gaze at work during the day if you are bored

- pocket streets, faster than iguidance if you just need to see a map

- pocket Universal translator english <> french <> german <> spanish, just for coolness because its "almost" startrek technology

- pocket stop watch, windows should just have this built in

- spb backup, although it doesnt work right, it can successfully restore 80% of the time

- WakeItUp, because its cool to turn on your computer without pushing the power button even though your 3m away

- WinMobile Torrent, in the event i absolutley my weekly fix of battle star galactica or lost or stargate atlantis, doctor who, i can get it before i get home while im at work

- WM5Storage, i need it so i can plug my pda phone into my car via USB so i can charge and listen to music off the card.

- wmIRC, talk on IRC just because i can

- ptravel alarm better than the windows alarm

-world card mobile OCR for business cards, you take a picture of the business card it OCR's the text and exports it to outlook, works EXCELENT!

please add your own "Must have" apps

I second Listpro. Also, PocketInformant, and tomeraider, so that I can carry the wikipedia along with me!

Definitely ListPro. In addition, I would say SKTools, Sprite Backup (won a copy from JAMM :) ), Pocket Informant, PocketXPdf, maybe Trenotes.

Not even close! I migrated all my SmartListToGo (AKA ThinkDB, ThinkDB2) databases into ListPro. See also this thread.

Pocket Informant and Pocketbreeze are quite different.

Pocketbreeze is a Today screen plug-in for appointments and tasks; it integrates very well with pocket informant to let you manage your appointment and task from the Today screen.

I can 100% recommend PocketBreeze (the 1st app I load to my Ax) and PocketInformant - an unbeatable combination.

Hmm tried both pocketbreeze and pocket informant, seems like theres too many things happening at once so i just stuck with pocketbreeze.

Anyone recommend me a good dictionary? Also looking for specialized dictionaries for business and medical.
