SSH and VNC

Trying to view a remote computer using VNC tunnelled through SSH (on X51V). I can open an SSH session to a remote computer just fine. However, as soon as I open a VNC viewer the SSH session is terminated - thus, no connection. How can I keep the SSH session alive and run a VNC connection?

How are you doing it?

I haven't tried this yet, but I have PortForwarder for CE -- which uses a compact OpenSSH implentation -- and then you can use whatever VNC viewer app you'd like.

Also, MochaVNC seems to feature where you can tunnel a VNC session through an SSH session.

Using PocketPutty to open the SSH session and then PTeVNC. I'm having a look at MochaVNC but need to do some reading to discover how to use it!
