I have had no problems using this app. I have had full 2-3 hour conversations using it. The only problem that I have with it is that I liked how the old messenger gave you a notice when someone got online. Windows live messenger doesn't do that and I wish that it did. Does anyone know how to make it do this? Registry hack?

It works pretty well bit slow cause i have quite a few contacts and that i have wisbar which if you click x it will make messenger mess up its alright aslong as u minimize it though. I find the messages saying a contact has come online annoying, there is the little icon still on the taskbar to tell you some1 has signed in. Its still a bit buggy but we wont see it as its intergrated into WM6. Not sure if that one is any better but it should be. Ive used windows live for a few weeks now and i was having convos for about 20 mins and it worked fine, I only get connect errors if i load up live messenger then switch the wireless on aslong as im connected to the internet and then load it up its fine.
uhhh i have windows live mail desktop for windows vista, and i also have windows live for my pocket pc.,.,i was wondering if the mail syncing feature has been set up to work yet, because i've tried too many things to trigger the 3 emails i have set up on windows live, but i ccan't get it to retrieve the folders and the emails into my phone.,.,does anyone have any good advice or help for me? thx in advance.,.,i saw another web pg where they were showing screen shots of what it looks like but i've never seen it for my phone and i got a tmboile mda.,.,.,if anyone got the cab file pls hit me up.,.,thx
I've been using windows live messenger absolutely fine 4 ages now & really like it, but I accidentally deleted it the other day (dont ask!) & the link that edge777 gave at the top of this topic 4 the CAB file doesnt work anymore :( So can any1 pls give me a copy of the CAB file? Im seriously ill & unable 2 use a desktop PC so I can only install things on2 my pocket pc via CAB files (& not via ActiveSync).... So can some1 pls help me out? Pretty pls?! I'd be v grateful!
Agreed -- my .cab file that I downlaoded from ages ago doesn't work either. And in my case I never even uninstalled Live Mobile!
I'm pretty angry about this because I can barely find any passable MSN-IM clients for the Axim besides this beta. Everything else just looks ridiculously base for such a powerful pda.
The beta was working like clockwork -- what happened?! Will we get a new one, or have we been dumped by Microsoft?
so are we all plugged? I mean theres' really nothing out there that can compete -- and I can't see why they would just stop us from using their beta even if they dont' wnat to develop it anymore. It's not like we're using something that costs money to log onto!
Windows Live, Yahoo Go, etc. all seem to be requiring a mobile phone number in order to install - no more cab files. I think non-cell phone access is being eliminated. Wonder who could be behind this?

they replaced it with the wap link version instead of the application .cab....
