Or is it red like that by default? Tell me it's normal, please!...
Yesterday, I upgraded my 50X to WM5 02 and right now I am installing programs, yup there is red line around the dialog, so no worry, that's normal as can be. :)

Cetuner changes colors/fonts of the ui, and is similar to customizing colors/fonts on desktop. Its not free, but with the trial you can change and apply 3 things. Then u have to close and reopen.

OMG look how much they want for it! thats a ripoff!

Did the hard reset fix it or is it still red?

fixed it...

but i still think that hard reset is a ridiculously heavy-handed "solution" for this kind of simple problem!

nothing wrong with hard reset... only when it's actually adequate!

Well, CETuner is actually the reason I did Hard Reset...
I did install specifically the demo version of CETuner for WM5, but after applying the tweaks and soft reset - my X51v wouldn't load anything except for a blank screen... I tried numerous soft resets - just a blank screen.

So CETuner for WM5 is the reason I did Hard Reset; I would not recommend anyone to try it on their X51v...

It fixed it alright, it got rid of the red screen and turned it into all white

The TdySchemeChanger is free and works on changing colors. I think I got mine from CDNet, but just do an internet search on the name & you'll find it.

Hmm.. Looks very similar to CETuner, which was actually exactly what I needed, but after CETuner I'm simply afraid to touch these programs :o)

But it does look like the kind of program I needed. Thx!

Exclamation

I think I actually isolated the source of this change from the default white color of dialogs to RED!
I'm pretty sure it's the ALLURE CHECKERS v2.0!

Can someone please confirm this?
Could you please PLEASE download them, install, and see if your dialogs turn red?

This is most interesting!...

You are correct...it is the Checkers program. Now I'm blessed with redness everywhere...fortunately I've got UITweaker 0.4 so I'll see if that works.

All good now. I used the SysColor Change-->Dialog Box and Static Control Colors setting that was red and changed it back to white, did a soft reset and I'm back to normal!:approve:
