Workaround?
I just updated my x50v to the latest ROM (A02) version. All went well and new partnership established, activesync connects well.
Problem is I have most of my programs installed on the SD card. Now they don't show up on the menu. Is there an easy workaround to populate the menu or do I have to go through ADD PROGRAMS via ACTIVESYNC? I would install programs in active memory but then that would decrease the amount of RAM available to run the programs! Any advice/suggestion? and btw, what happened to the backup/restore option in ACTIVESYNC? How are we supposed to backup or restore now? Thanks, CP

Just put the Axim into the craddle
go to SD card right click on the software you want to be shown select create link now - e.g. with total commander (free) - rselect the created link right click select move go to the folder windows (on ppc) go to the subfolder startmenu go to the subfolder programs put the link in this folder, it will appear under software As I use a German version, titles of folders may be slightly different Good luck!
