Aximsitex5icon Windows Mobile 5 Upgrade

I recently updated my Dell Axim X5 to Windows Mobile 2003SE, and now I want to upgrade it to Windows Mobile 5. Is there any way I can do this? Please help me, I may be a bit crazy with my Pocket PCs (I have one of my Axim X5s overclocked to 1GHz!), but I want to use their full potential!

You're running WM2003se on an X5? Didn't know that a version of that OS was released to support the X5. Care to explain how you got that working?

I dont know if it's possible. I don't think Dell is even selling the upgrade CD anymore.

There is not one ROM listed for the X5 @ http://pocketpccentral.net/software/upsoft.htm.

There is obviously some confusion going on here. Are you sure you are talking about the X5 and not the X50?

The last ROM update that Dell released for the X5 was for WM2003, not SE. The official release can still be had by securing a CD, but determined people can still find the ROM elsewhere on the web.

OH! OK. Anyway, is it possible for me to upgrade to WM5, cause I could change the ROM header to force it to accept it.

Is it possible to clear and fresh install WM5 on an X3?

If not, can you download a Comm Manager for it? (I am having extreme difficulties connecting to any internet connection)

Regarding wifi.aximsite.com, I just followed them again, and yet no internet connection? Its rather annoying, is there a way to check to make sure the wifi works?
