Worried WM5 for X30?

I'm wondering if I can upgrade from Windows 2003 to WM5 on the X30 and if I should. Thanks.

1: no, not possible. *EDIT*: you could with a hacked ROM image, but read number two before you fire up google.

2: not a good choice if you could. the X30 doesn't have a lot of BIS, so I can guarantee you would be running out of space fairly quickly if you don't make heavy use of SD cards. also, the X30 uses NOR memory, which means that WM5 would be as painfully slow as most X50(v) users are finding it with that kind of ROM. I can say this from experience. many other reasons why, search the forum for "NOR X50 WM5" and you'll see some.

bottom line: even if you could, you shouldn't.
